Torre al Parco. The project, conservation and valuing of a work of modern architecture

The Torre al Parco, built from 1953 to 1956 and designed by Vico Magistretti and Franco Longoni, stands out as one of the most original residential episodes built in height in the centre of Milan.

The Torre has recently undergone a conservative renovation, a virtuous example of modern restoration, in which the image of the architectural artefact and the refinement of the technical-constructive solutions of the past have been preserved.

On the occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2024, Ad Urbem, a platform for modern architecture, and Fondazione Vico Magistretti are organising some guided tours (sold out) and presenting a small publication that tells the architectural history of the building and its construction features and it contains a focus on the recent conservation and restoration work.
