Archives might seem fixed, dusty and immobile entities, but preserving, studying and enhancing an archive teaches that reality is completely different.

Often preserved papers lead out of the archive itself, tracing and delineating paths, stories and transversal connections.

The meeting between Archivio Gae Aulenti and Fondazione Vico Magistretti – both involved in the network of the design museums in Lombardy (Circuito Lombardo Musei Design) -, is an opportunity for comparison, study and exchange between the two archives, which enrich each other.
