Vico Magistretti. Between Milano and the world

Thursday, October 5th, at Palazzo dell'Arte, Fondazione Vico Magistretti and Triennale Milano present the first international conference - curated by Nina Bassoli, Gabriele Neri, Marco Sammicheli - on the work of the Milanese architect and designer, in order to stimulate a new wave of studies to update the horizons of research, in Italy and abroad, with an international perspective.

After the major exhibition Vico Magistretti. New perspectives is expected to be not only an opportunity to review and draw conclusions of the day but also an occasion of comparison and analysis on perspectives, developments, trajectories and meanings of the Italian project.

The intervention of NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in the context of the panel discussion falls in this direction, thanks to the new Academic Master in Italian Design which will be specifically dedicated to research on the historical identity and the possible directions of development of the Italian design, and whose activation is scheduled for October 2024 in the Milan campus.
